The Eye of Horus is also called Oudjat or Wedjat.
In a struggle with Seth, Horus lost his left eye,
which gave him spiritual sight, the eye of light.
His left eye was healed by Thoth and returned to Horus
and became known as "the Oudjat" ("the Whole One"),
a symbol of the power of the God of Light.
